End of 1st Nine Weeks
Its hard to believe that the nine weeks ends Friday!! We took our Earth Science Assessment today. The POD test will be on Friday. If students kept up with them, that is an easy 100% because they can use notes. I will introduce minerals and rocks with a identification lab. Fall break is next week!!! Hope everyone has a great week. Science club shirts are here. Yay

We are learning about plate tectonics in Science this week and next. Progress reports went home with students yesterday. Please make sure that you have provided the school with current contact information.

Scientific Method
Today we took notes over Scientific Method, variables in an experiment, and how to graph data. We will do a couple of labs where they have to apply what we have learned in class for a performance based assessment. First vocab quiz tomorrow.

Test Time
Our first test will be next Friday. I gave out the study guide today. Next week we will begin to take our knowledge of density and relate it to the positioning of Earth layers.
